ASAKUSA IMAHAN,Asakusa,Tokyo

Opened in 1895, Asakusa Imahan is located on Kokusai Street in ASAKUSA, downtown Tokyo.
We serve our exclusive beef utilizing a Japanese table-top grill in both Sukiyaki and Shabu-Shabu styles, completed with our original hot broth.
Our most popular is the Kobe beef, selectively chosen from our contracted farmers. Through maintaining the traditional values of hospitality cherished in Japanese culture known as omotenashi, we are proud to serve our customers the best of the best, the signature “Asakusa Imahan” taste.

Kokusai Street Head Restaurant

The Kokusai Street Head Restaurant was originally built in 1928 during the post-Great Kanto Earthquake era. The building was then reconstructed for a grand opening on October 9th, 2008 which remains today as the new Kokusai Street Head Restaurant.
The new building maintains the architectural beauty inherited from the original design, having a wide range of dining room styles that suits different occasions and needs of our customers. Many of our private dining rooms have a built-in sunken kotatsu that allows customers to experience the traditional Japanese seating style and can be used for many purposes, often popular for business/formal meetings. We also provide a bigger seating room with Japanese style seating “booths,” though not as isolated as the private rooms, this room recreates a welcoming Japanese downtown atmosphere, accommodated with the variety of special dishes.
We are looking forward to serving you with our greatest taste and service through our exclusive Imahan Wagyu Beef that captures the signature “Asakusa Imahan” taste, one that has been passed on for over a century.
